Jimmy and Leah Miles are delighted to welcome you to our little slice of heaven on the lake. This beautiful property has been in Leah’s family for more than a century and opening our doors to guests allows us to share what we love most while preserving this special place for generations to come.
We’re not just your hosts—we’re your neighbors. With deep roots in Alma and Bacon County, we’ve spent our lives serving this community we call home. Jimmy serves both as a property appraiser for a local bank and as pastor at Friendship Baptist Church, and Leah has been managing the Bacon County Farm Bureau for more than twenty years. We know the best fishing spots, the hidden hiking trails, and where to find the finest sweet tea in South Georgia.
When we decided to transform this family land into Lakeview Leisure and Lodging, our vision was simple: create a peaceful retreat where families and friends can slow down, reconnect, and experience the warmth of Southern hospitality. Whether you’re here to cast a line at sunrise, gather around an evening campfire, or enjoy the afternoon on your cabin’s porch, we want you to feel right at home.
